John Keh
Partner, LA Operations Manager at Caviar
After graduating from University of California, Berkeley, John Keh joined the US Air Force, where he honed his skills in operational planning. He was a geospatial intelligence analyst that planned and supported operations for US Joint forces in Korea and the Middle East. After finishing his enlistment, he joined Caviar as a Partner to launch both the New York and Los Angeles operations and logistics programs. He also headed West Coast operations and helped transition the operations team through an acquisition. Keh has helped grow a start up from early stages through IPO.
Emanuel Pleitez
Active Principal Investor at Sunstone Partners
Emanuel Pleitez is an investor at Sunstone Partners, a technology investment firm. Prior to Sunstone Partners, he served as a Commissioner for the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions and Head of Strategy and Business Development for Qlovi, an education technology startup. Before joining Qlovi, Emanuel was the Chief Strategy Officer for Spokeo. Emanuel's private sector experience also includes being a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs. In addition, Emanuel is currently a soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve and the Chairman of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. A Los Angeles native, he holds a B.A. from Stanford University.
Eugene Cho
Founder & CEO at Echo Laboratories, Inc.
As an industry thought leader with 15 years expertise in microscopy, Eugene is highly experienced with developing and selling capital imaging equipment to life science professionals in multiple markets including academic, clinical, pharmaceutical, and government. Founded in 2014, Echo Laboratories is a disruptive startup that designs and develops innovative and modern microscopes for life sciences professionals and recently won a Cool Idea! Award this year from Proto Labs, which offers roughly six to eight awards for innovative projects each year.
Christopher M. Wheeler
Attorney // Shareholder at Framework Law Group
Christopher M. Wheeler counsels clients on a wide range of business and intellectual property issues primarily in the entertainment and consumer products industries. His practice focuses in the areas of trademark and copyright counseling, protection and prosecution. Prior to joining Framework Law Group PC, Chris spent a number of years in private practice where he assisted in the representation of a wide variety of clients including social media personalities, a major music festival promoter, and an international sports megastar. As a law student, Chris was a semi-finalist of the Cardozo BMI Entertainment and Communications Law Moot Court Competition. Chris is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Southwestern Law School.
